Side Stories – Time Archives
United by one place and one decade, these are the expanded stories of Royal Valley’s people, before, during, or long after they’ve left the city that was at some point their home. These tales delve into important events mentioned in the main series, or share with us never-before-mentioned life moments that many members of the large cast go through. Sorted chronologically, these short side stories do not have a set update schedule, but will appear in pairs when there are new experiences to explore.
Archived by the TMB’s quantum-temporal supercomputers, some of these events are anomalous and no longer considered canon to the main timeline, but that doesn’t make them any less enjoyable or impactful, with their echoes reaching the story as a whole.
Also, there is a helpful spoiler guide for each story, showing you the earliest recommended time to read it, and the point at which there is pretty much nothing left to spoil. Blue indicates light spoilers if the side story is read at this point. Orange for moderate spoilers. Expect some heavy spoilers if you read it before the suggested chapter. “Just before” is more of a thematic guide that may enhance the main series chapter.
As you go through the anthology, you may notice repeating threads and rhyming moments that tie the stories together.
